Director's note
The garment is a held shape and the body is the armature. Find the one angle at which the volume reads and give the figure more air than feels comfortable; the negative space is part of the garment. Keep the pose still and the arms clear of the silhouette. Never use a wind machine, and never let the shape depend on movement: if it does not hold when the model stops, it is not sculptural.
